Day 1 - Arrival to Vancouver

Flight to Vancouver went fairly well. We left the gate a little later than planned, but, as usual, we gated in Vancouver right on time! It's as if the airlines know they will be late.

We were greeted by the 2 organizers here in Vancouver. After everyone got their luggage and bike, we had a bus ride to the hotel. Wow, the moutains here are really impressive. But didn't see much of the city today.

It's been a very long day with the timezone change, so happy to be in bed finally. Tomorrow the day starts at 6:30AM. Yes that's right, I'm waking up earlier in my vacation than in normal life, who would have thought.
