Beautiful weather today in Montreal. 25C with some wind. Perfect time for what i consider to be my first bigger ride (above 60Km). It was good to put some sun block cream for the first time this year. This only means you'll be spending a lot of time under the sun...
Ride was from Brossard to Rte 233 (Rue du Richelieu), crossing the bridge right in front of Mont St-Hilaire, and back on Rte 133 (Chemin des Patriotes). Looks like we will have new pavement on des Patriotes! Right now it's under construction and practically "unridable" :-(
Yesterday it was the occasion to meet some of the people that will be making the trip with me. The preparation varies a lot between people, but I was able to find a small group with the same profile as me (apart from the age, seems i'll be the youngest and by a lot, note i've only seen less than half of the people so I might have a nice surprise!). Was a short ride of 51Km with Yannick Cojan a pro cyclist.
Note that most of my post during my cross Canada trip will be in French. Soon i'll do a post in French and see how accurate Google Translate is. If possible i'll add a link to the translation.
